UML tool training is integrated in the program. Candidates will get a live overview on using a
modeling tool such as Rational Rose or StarUML and create:
* Use Case Diagram
* Activity Diagram
* Statechart Diagram
Participants will have assignments and projects to enable hands-on practical experience in using
the tool for real-world business cases |

Requirement management tools facilitate documentation and management of requirement
documentation, business rules, supplemental specifications and provide for traceability and audit
trail of baselined project artifacts.
Requirements management is explained by a screen presentation of a tool such as Rational
RequisitePro or Telelogic DOORS. |

Repository management tools help performing version control and maintaining the gold source of
project artifacts
Repository management is covered by a screen presentation of a tool such as Rational
ClearCase, Concurrent Versions System (CVS) or Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (VSS). |

Change Management Tools |

Change control for baselined, signed off requirements and defect tracking is possible by using
a tool such as Rational ClearQuest.
